Mmm Matcha

Our first adventure into multicultural brownies.

Matcha was originally developed in China during the Song dynasty over 1,000 years ago. The distinct method of shading the plants before harvest increases chlorophyll (green) and amino acid content, which provide unique health, flavor, color, and texture benefits. The tradition spread to Japan, where most premium and ceremonial grades are now grown.

Our brownies use culinary-grade Japanese Jade leaf matcha to give them their distinct flavor and color. They also use white chocolate, which creates a smooth and creamy backdrop for the natural umami flavor of matcha to shine. Every bite will leave you saying...
